Construction and Work Parties
October seems far away in March but work parties will start VERY soon - we will update here soon with dates and times for 2017 work parties. The shop is located at
Please come down to help when ever you can. If you do not have your own set to build you can lend a hand with one of the many different projects we have going on. We always need more hands at the shop. Let Jeannie know if you are interested in working out a car pool from Sammamish to the shop in Kent.
We will again be having on-line volunteer registration this year and more info will be coming out soon.

More than just Acting
Can't act? Don't like to act? Then get involved in one of the other departments. It takes more than actors to put on our events. And don't think that you have to limit yourself to volunteering in a single capacity. Most of our volunteers participate in multiple departments.
Construction and Set Design
The Set Designers come up with the twisted ideas and work with the Head of Construction and Artistic Director to bring their visions to terrifying life.
The safety of our volunteers is the absolute highest priority. SCARE Productions has the best security and safety record of any haunted attraction on the west coast. Besides keeping our volunteers safe during our own events, SCARE Productions also provides security for Seattle Crypticon, the largest horror convention in the Pacific Northwest.
These are the people who make sure we have the best dressed monsters out there.
Are you good with makeup? Do you want to learn? Then this is where you belong. The Makeup Department is responsible for turning (mostly) normal volunteers into terrifying creatures of the night.
Have you ever heard the expression 'It's like herding cats'? Well, herding actors in monster makeup is even harder. But the casting department gets us where we need to be.
These are the people responsible for keeping the lights on. Literally. No matter how windy or rainy they are out there running power cords, fixing the audio, changing light bulbs and doing everything else that needs to be done to keep the show running.
Jeannie will be taking orders (and payment) for Scarewear at the picnic. $10 for a T-shirt and $25 for a hoodie. Cash or check only.
