Acting Training

Casting and Trainers have been working hard to revamp Basic and Advanced Actor Training to give our actors more opportunity to learn and practice techniques, behaviors and specific roles in the show.  All actors with less than 4 years experience with Scare and/or NABL should attend Basic Actor Training.  More experienced actors are encouraged to attend this training.  Due to the early start of this year's show, training locations may vary.  Please review them closely.  Basic Training will take place at City Hall and Beaver Lake Park.

Advanced Training will be offered on-site at Beaver Lake Park.  You are encouraged to attend any or all of the Advanced Training sessions.

There will also be some specialty training required for certain roles.  This training will take place following Advanced Training sessions, but is still in the planning phase.  More information will be available at the picnic and later this summer.

We will be taking photos of all actors.  If yours was not taken during Orientation, arrive 30 minutes before training.  For those attending both Basic and Advanced Actor Training, we suggest you bring a sack lunch and beverage.

Kent Work Parties

Need more information? Contact Curt Madden at

The address to our Workshop is: 1819 S Central Ave Ste 29 Kent, WA 98032

HOLD HARMLESS APPLICATIONS
Please remember that ALL participants in the Haunt need to complete new Hold Harmless Applications yearly.  These will be available at the picnic and will be found at the workshop.  Please complete and return yours ASAP.

If you're interested in designing rooms, or assisting in operation, please feel free to ask for entrance to our group board on Facebook, at: The Scare Productions Group site

SEARCHLIGHT NEEDED
Many visitors have found the Haunt by tracking down the location through searchlights.  We want to bring in more visitors by having a searchlight that is easily seen for miles.  We are currently looking for a big searchlight to accomplish this.  If you happen to see one while you are out and about, please get the company's name and phone numbers and pass them on to Curt at

If you're just stumbling on this site, Scare Productions is the theater group that produces haunted houses for charities. Presently, we focus on producing the Nightmare at Beaver Lake with the Sammamish Rotary and Sammamish Youth Club. We are a non-profit, all volunteer collective.
